Language: is the words we use to share ideas and get what we want through listening, speaking, understanding, writing, reading.
Fluency: is a speech language pathology term that means the smoothness or flow with which sounds, syllables, words and phrases are joined together when speaking quickly. "Fluency disorders" is used as a collective term for cluttering and stuttering.
Social Thinking/Pragmatics: The skills a student uses to address their social needs with day to day interactions.
AAC: Children with severe speech or language problems may need to find other ways to communicate. There are many types of AAC that they can use from low to high tech.
Voice: Difficulty with the quality of voice such as a raspy or hoarse quality that is detrimental to a student's health.
